Hi Champs,

Should LRCK and BCK synchronous to SCK?

If not, I2S data will not be correctly processed in the device?

My customer generates SCK with free running crystal, and LRCK and BCK are generated CPU, independent of SCK.

    Hello Fujihara-san,

    The SCK and LRCK must be synchronized.  If there is an offset between the two then the device will see occasional synchronization errors which will momentarily stop playback in the device.  These glitches are usually audible.  

    I recommend that the I2S source use the same master clock as the SCK source.
