TAS5825M: Input mixer settings

Hi,

I'm developing an amplifier with the TAS5825M. Everything is working fine with I2S input in stereo configuration.

Now I want to switch the input of the amp between stereo, only left channel, only right channel and mono sum. I didn't find any info how to configure the registers of the input mixer in the datasheet.

How and which register do I have to configure to change the default settings of the input mixer?

Hello Markus,

Here is the default configuration for the input mixer settings:

w 98 00 00
w 98 7f 8c
w 98 00 0b
#Left - Left Channel
w 98 14 00 80 00 00
#Right - Left Channel
w 98 18 00 00 00 00
#Left - Right Channel
w 98 1c 00 00 00 00
#Right-Right Channel
w 98 20 00 80 00 00

For more information on the register settings please see TAS5825M Process Flows, additionally if you have the PPC3 app you can change any desired setting on the GUI and use the I2C log to capture it.
