PCM2912A: Using an Oscillator instead of an Crystal

Hello Experts,

would it work if I feed a 6Mhz Signal from an CMOS Oscillator into the XTI Pin instead of using a Crystal?

If yes, do I have to terminate the XTO Pin?

Hi Ingo,

Yes you can use an oscillator connected to the XTI pin. If you do this, the XTO pin should be left floating.

I also found the Information in the Datasheet. I will read first and ask then if I have Questions About TI products in future.
