I am using LM49250 device as a stereo audio amplifier. I want 2W/channel output. Can I operate the device with 5V supply connected to VDD(LS) and 3.3V connected to VDD, VDD(CP) and I2CVDD. Please reply at the earliest.

Vasudevan OM

Hi, Vasudevan,
This is a good question. Even if it is not specified in the datasheet, all the power supply pins (VDD, VDD(CP) and VDD(LS)) should be tied to the same power source. Having them connected to a different voltage level may result in a risk to damage the device. Our team will work to update the datasheet so we can avoid future conflicts with this information.
Please let me know if you have additional questions or comments.

Hi,
Thank you for your prompt answer. I got confused due to the statement 'Separate power supplies allow speakers to operate from a higher voltage' in the datasheet (page No.23, LDO general information). Please consider that this issue is closed.
