Hi Sirs,
According to the TAS5825 datasheet, the fall time of the SCL and SDA is 20+0.1CB ns (min). Here we have two questions:
1. We got 10ns fall time on SCL with 400kHz on customer's system board. Is 10ns ok for the TAS5825? We assume that we should define the maximum full time but not the minimum.
2. What is the meaning of CB?
Thank you and Best regards,
Wayne Chen

Hi Wayne,
My colleague would be able to better answer the first question but Cb stands for capacitive load for each bus line.

Hi Wayne,
You could refer below E2E item about I2C protocol requirement, and Cb is the total captacitance of entire bus.

Thank you for your advise, Matthew and Robert. Should we remove the requirements of the minimum fall time from the TAS5825 datasheet following I2C specifications?...Wayne Chen
