TAS5805M: Audio source sampling frequency

Hi team,

I noticed that TAS5805M supports 32 kHz, 44.1kHz – 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz – 96 kHz sampled audio source, what if a 16kHz sampled audio source is implemented? 

Customer tried 16kHz audio and found very poor output quality. Just need to make sure that this device is developed not to support 16kHz.

    Hello George, 

    The TAS5805M has a minimum sample rate of 32 kHz, as seen on page 6 of the datasheet. 

    On top of not being supported in our datasheet, the customer is getting very poor audio quality because they are limited by such a small sample rate.
