Audio team,

Do you have a list of which audio ADCs have existing Android drivers?

Our customer is interested in the TLV320ADC3100, which appears to have no driver. We're looking for alternatives.

Darren,

TI has not developed a dedicated Android driver for any audio ADCs or codecs with the exception of the TLV320AIC3262 (back in 2011)

The new TLV320ADCx140 devices have an ALSA driver for linux, but I"m not sure how compatible it would be with android which is based on linux and does have ALSA... but Im no expert in android, I would expect that your customer might have some insight there.

Do you know if the driver for the TLV320ADCx140 has reached the main branch of the kernel, or do you have a link for the driver.

Hi Steve,

The links on the Linux driver page which go to git.TI.com, are broken. The individual files are not in the expected location.

Also, I downloaded the full zip (200MB) from that git commit page, and the tlv320adc510.c and .h files are not in the expected location.
