PCM2705C: Pop and Click Noise on PCM2705C

Hi,

I am  getting pop ad click noise on the earphone when i plug or remove the USB cable. I have designed the Filter circuit as per the datasheet but it's not reducing the noise. The noise gets amplified when I connect the external amplifier. do you any solutions for this?

    Hi Nikesh,

    The pop noise is an artifact of the caps on the out output discharging.  In the schematic, R7 and R8 help discharge the caps.  A lower resistor value will discharge faster and improve the pop noise, but increase THD.  You should try a few values until you find a good compromise between pop noise and audio fidelity.
