Can I connect 4Ohm or 8Ohm drivers to the TPA3116D2 in mono mode? What will the maximum power? Will it hold 50W at 8Ohm?

what is the PVCC voltage you are using? the maximum output power is realted to PVCC also.

Yes, your can connect 4ohm/8ohm in Mono mode.

About the maximum power, with 4ohm/8ohm load, the mono mode output power is same as stero mode. because maximum output power limitation is not device current capability. So you can refer datasheet Figure 13 and 14 to find the maximum output power.
