TPA3131D2: TPA3131D2 FAULTZ single output level is low

Hello sir!

I designed used by TPA3131D2 Audio AMP.

My schematic is below that

And FAULTZ pin is direct connected with SDZ pin and connected to VCC_AMP Power with 100kohm resister.

But Audio is not display and FAULTZ signal level is low

I don't know it.

Hi Sung,

Firstly, disconnect the SDZ and Fault pin. And check the SDZ and Fault pin low or high.

And also check the GVDD pin voltage.

I disconnected FAULTZ and SDZ pin and check voltage.

PVCC : 12V, GVDD : 5.25V

FAULT : 1.2V, SDZ : 1.1V

Fault reporting is below that in datasheet

I check in my board

1.Output is not short and not short PVCC and GND

2.Not Over temperature.

But i am not understand that Is 'Too High DC Offset' mean?

Hi Sung,

The SDZ should be higher than 2V at least. Why the SDZ pin voltage is 1.1V? The device is shutdown if SDZ is 1.1V.

Can you also check if any solder problem?
