TAS5782M: Linux driver integration

Hi,

we sent customer a linux driver for TAS5782M. In the zip file provided there are only c and h files.

Can you please explain:

- where to put the files?

- how does the device tree have to look?

- is there an interdepence to other Kernel modules or which modules have to be swichted on?

- which user packages are needed (best for buildroot, or Yocto)?

Hi Andreas,

Currently TI only provides TAS5782M .c / .h for customer, then customer needs to refer them to do system integration by themselves.

So we can give NO additional advice on HOW to use the file? (which directory etc.)

Hi Andreas,

Basically these two files are used during audio system BIOS period to download initialization script. So they only include the I2C initialization script information which is used to write down to TAS5782M.
