CCS/TAS3251: how to flash for beginners

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

What device do I connect to flash the binary signals to this chip should I connect the computer viz headphone jack or purchase a chip flasher? What is a TI reccomended way of flashing scripts ?

Hi Joseph,

Not sure if you are asking the programming, actually they should be done by I2C interface as part of the initialization process. We have PPC3 GUI for TAS3251, all the settings can be dumped out into a header file to be integrated on your MCU codes.

Yes but i do not have board so what jack is on the evm have you ever built this board ?

Hi,

EVM had integrated a USB-I2C converting circuit, so just plug in the USB can make it work.

For an application circuit, just use the I2C pins(SCL/SDA) to do the programming. It follows the standard I2C spec.
