TPA3113D2: Single-ended output

Hi Team,

Please let me know if the TPA3113D2 output can be configured as Single-ended output.

My customer wants to configure the TPA3113D2 output as Single-ended output as follows,
- Only use OUTP
- Ground is common with microphone

Hi Koshi,

TPA3113 can not support single-ended output, it will trigger OC fault.

Thank you for your reply.
I promoted the TPA3113D2 to my customer an alternative product to TDA1517ATW/N1,118 (NXP) (EOL).
Since TPA1517 is old device, I did not promoted it to them.

What is the best alternative audio amplifier device which can be configured as single-ended output?

Hi Koshi,

Maybe I missed your mean.

If only OUTP drives speaker, the OUTN can not be connect to ground. That can configure single-end output.

Because OUTP has DC offset, so customer must add DC capacitor on OUTP.

The unused OUTN still needs BST caps.
