Hello Team,

is it possible to use the EVM without using GUI to configure operation?

Means can this EVM be used in a stand-alone mode without PC? (with default register settings)

I think there is also access of the I2C pin on the EVM which can be connected to the target board of the customer?

Hi Josef,

Yes, you can configure EVM by I2C interface directly.

You can disconnect I2C to XMOS, and connect I2C to MCU or SOC, and write/read the registers by I2C.

Hi Josef,

On the TPA6304-Q1, the device needs to have I2C to function. There is no way to run the EVM without the GUI.

The customer can connect their target board to the I2C on the pcb. Then the GUI is not necessary as the system I2C will control the TPA6304-Q1.
