Hi,

I would use PurePath console 3 to control the TAS6424-Q1 EVM.

And where can I set the time delay between every speakers?

Maybe is the part of following picture, or something else?

I want to create directivity effect, so I need to set time delay between every speakers.

Hi Joan,

Unfortunately, we do not have a DSP in this device to perform a delay. You would have to create this is in a DSP, format the signal to TDM or I2S and send it to the amplifier.

Hi Joan,

It the linked forum post does not indicate how to delay the channels as you want. It infers that you must put your delayed signals into the TDM slots and arrange the slots for your array.

As I said earlier, the TAS6424-Q1 does not have the DSP capability to delay audio.

Actually, I would like to design speaker array using 6 or 8 speakers,

and at the same time, it needs the DSP capability to delay audio,

Are there other spatial array IC available in TI?

Joan,

I am not familiar with our DSP groups products. Go to ti.com.. Please take a look at their products.. Maybe search E2E for some threads on this subject.
