TLV320AIC3100: DIN-to-DOUT loopback is not working

Hi,

I tried to do DIN-to-DOUT loopback (Codec Interface Control 2) test but it is not working, ADC-to-DAC loopback is fine and also the connected microcontroller loopback I2C data, that also working. Codec clock is derived from BCLK input and the PLL_CLK is measured by bring it to GPIO1. Any guess?.

Let me make sure I understand you correctly.

You are physically connecting DOUT to DIN, but are not able to get DAC output?

can you share your register configuration?

Hi,

Sorry for the confusion. The device is working when DOUT to DIN connected externally, but not by programming 0x20 to the register 29 (Page 0 / Register 29: Codec Interface Control 2, bit D5 DIN-to-DOUT loopback is enabled).
