TLV320ADC3001: Audio input

Hi Team,

My customer is using TLV320ADC3001 for earphone project. For the audio input, there are there channel signals: Left channel, Right channel, AOHRM. Do you have any suggestions for the connection of these three signals? The customer currently connects the left channel to 1L, the right channel to 1R, and the 2L to AOHPM. What is the difference? THANKS!

    Hello,

    Assuming that these are three single-ended signals, then these connections look appropriate.  There is a good input stage in Figure 29 on page 30 of the datasheet. It shows that the input muxing is very flexible and allows the inputs to connect to either of the two active ADCs inside the ADC3001.

    Note that there are only two ADCs so only two of these three signals can be converted at a time.
