TLV320AIC3204: DRC function delay time

Part Number: TLV320AIC3204

Hi team,

Customer want to evaluate DRC function in AIC3204, and wonder what is the delay time between W/ and W/O DRC

As I found on datasheet and user guide, there is no such data to show how long would it take to finish this process. Do you or your team has such data, so customer can estimate the total communication setting up time?

    Hello Gene, 

    The DRC is a parallel function.  I ie it is measuring the digital signal before the interpolation filters,  and making a change to the analog gain after the interpolation filters.  I wouldn't expect any additional delay from this.
