TAS5782M: TAS5782M

Part Number: TAS5782M

In tab characterization i see SOA - system gain Votl/F.S.

How can i measurement this param?

Does this param in dbFS ?? For example i have 26 dbFS spk_amp - i need type in this box - system gain - 26??

What does it mean Volt\F.S. ?

  • And another quastion.

Does smart amp process do AGL control when PVDD drop down.

When i get power from accumulators, they discharge, and pvdd drop down from 16volt to 13volt. Does smart amp process automaticly control volume like AGL or no?

If no, how can i do such control - at smart amp process no AGL module...

  • Hi Alexey,

    1. As below System Calibration - System Gain Calibration, the system gain is automatically calculated based on AC output measured voltage. The 28.0Volt/FS means 0dBFS digital I2S input audio signal, the ClassD audio output is 28.0Vpeak.

    2. TAS5782M is one TI Closed loop classD structure. It means the analog gain is fixed, which does not relate to PVDD voltage. So the AGL threshold should be fixed to get same max output power even PVDD drop down from 16V to 13V.
