Hello,

I will use the headphone output of the AIC23B without capacitors in pseudo-differential mode with virtual ground . Is it possible with the ACI23B?

And is it possible to use the VMID pin for the virtual ground? And which GND do I have to connect to the HPGND pin, GND or the virtual GND?

Without access to the filter coefficients you cannot invert the output channels to effect differential mode. HPGND goes to the power supply ground. The VMID is the internal mid voltage rail used for the input and the pin is to provide an external capacitor for stability and noise reasons only. It would not be happy with speaker current.

All of the features you want are in the aic26.

The Ti TSC2100 is a touch screen controller with a complete aic26 and is available in a leaded package. I use this part while ignoring the touch screen portion.

You might also want to look at the AIC3104 which also has this feature.

Nice looking part and detailed data sheet. Unfortunately it has a I2C command interface which is absent on Ti Chipcon radios. Is there something similar with a SPI interface?

AIC3106 is the full featured part (I2C or SPI) that the AIC3104 is derived from.
