LM4673: pop noise during power off

Part Number: LM4673

Hi team,

Could you please provide the solution to solve the pop noise during power off? Thanks!

Please find the schematic and waveforms below. We've applied C19 with 1uF to solve the pop noise at power on.

Best regards,

Sam Ting

  • Hi Sam,

For best pop performance, you the device should be muted until the supply is fully powered up and stable, and it should also be muted before removing the power supply. The sequence would be like below:

    • Hold SHDN pin low
    • Power up VDD/PVDD voltage
    • Pull SHDN up
    • Device is in active mode
    • Pull SHDN low and hold
    • Power down VDD/PVDD voltage
    • Device is powered down
