Hi all,
I have a question on TPA3132D2.
Is Output Power=30W output possible when used in MONO mode (Datasheet p.20 7.4.1)?
The customer plans to operate the TPA3132D2 with the following specifications.
・PVCC = 12V
・RL = 8Ω
・Output Power = 30W
・MONO mode
Is it possible to use TPA3132D2 with this specification?
I think it can be used in the 6.6 AC Electrical Characteristics description.
Best Regards,
Ishiwata
Hi Ishiwata,
From customer application description, TPA3132 has the capacity to dirve 30W at 8ohm load, PVCC=12V using MONO mode.
Regards,
Derek
Hi Derek,
I'm sorry. There are additional confirmations.
What is the maximum output power in customer specifications (PVCC=12V, RL=8Ω, MONOmode)?
Or can it be calculated?
Best Regards,
Ishiwata
Hi Ishiwata,
I am sorry that I calculated power used error load impedance before.
PVCC=12V, RL=8Ω, MONO mode can not drive to 30W at 10% THD. The drive capacity is 20W at 10% THD.
You can see the figure 15, the BTL data at 8ohm load. Mono mode data should be twice times as BTL mode.
I am sorry for the inconvenience.
Regards,
Derek
Hi Ishiwata,
It seems no device can support customer application.
Can they change load to 4ohm or adjust PVDD to high voltage?
Hi Derek,
My apologies for a late reply here.
Advised the customer to change load and PVDD.
Thank you for your support.
Best Regards,
Ishiwata
