Can pffb also be used with single ended outputs using an output capacitor C_se  like shown below ?

    Hello Chris,

    Theoretically it could offer improvement but the introduction of the DC blocking cap would affect the entire PFFB loop. We haven't validated this use case so we can't state how much performance improvement it would bring, you would need to test it on your system and tune it according to your requirements.

    We have the information outlined in the Post-Filter Feedback application note which can be used as guidance in your development and provide recommendations in the app note based on the conditions we have tested. Conditions outside the scope of the application note would need to be tested and validated by the customer.

    Thanks for checking, just wanted to know if this was tried already but I understand it's a first. I lack the necessary distortion analysis equipment so will not pursue this further for now.  Thanks for your time !
