CCS/TLV320AIC3100: tlv320aic3100

Part Number: TLV320AIC3100

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I use tlv320aic3100 chip for recording. After tuning for a long time, there is still a certain amount of noise. I use PRB_ R5 processing block for filtering, can you provide the filter parameters and AGC configuration parameters of ordinary recording?Thank you!

  • Hello,

We do not have any predetermined filter parameters or AGC configuration. I can offer a tool to use for the biquad filters here. With this tool, you can create the type of filter you need and the tool will generate the filters coefficients. You may then program the device with those coefficients.

If you are experiencing noise, it may also come from improper configuration. Can you please send over your configuration as well as a description of what you are trying to achieve? Clock values such as MCLK, BCLK, WCLK would also be useful.

    Regards,

    Aaron

  • Hi,Aaron.Do you have a WeChat account? If so, can I be your wechat friend? Because it's hard to describe the problem in the forum.

  • I want to create a sample rate 22050 Hz, 50-1000hz band-pass, 16 bit filter.I checked the clock value, there was no problem. The sound was normal, but there was noise in the recording.

  • I created filters N0, N1, N2, D1, D2 as follows:

    1.High Pass:0x7E8D, 0x8173, 0, 0x7D1C, 0

    2.Low Pass: 0x0C0D, 0x0C0D, 0, 0x67E4, 0

    3.High Pass:0x7DB4, 0x824C, 0, 0x7B69, 0

    4.Low Pass:  0x07E2, 0x07E2, 0, 0x703A, 0

    5.Low Pass:  0x0F32, 0x0F32, 0, 0x6199, 0

  • Hello User,

Unfortunately, I do not have a WeChat account. If you'd like, we can discuss this through private message here on the forum. If so, please send me a friend request. Once I accept, we can begin private messaging.

If you can still provide information I requested in my initial reply, that would be great. There can be many reasons that cause some unwanted noise and looking at that information can help eliminate some possibilities.

    Regards,
    Aaron
