I am working with the AIC3204 codec specifically related to the AGC functionality. Is there a software simulation tool available that would allow me to input an audio file and process it with different AGC parameter settings to evaluate its performance? I know that there is software that works with the TMS320C5535 eZdsp kit where various AGC parameters can be set and evaluated with live audio input, but I need to be able input my own set of captured audio data.

Hi Jim,

AGC algorithms are fairly well documented in DSP literature and most of the signal processing design to develop the blocks inside these devices is performed in MATLAB. We do not have a model for the exact parameters in the AIC3204 but that would be my best recommendation to do what you're looking to accomplish.
