TAS2505: Shutdown power consumption in LDO usage

I would like to confirm power consumption in shutdown when LDO selected.

The shutdown current in datasheet can be applied shutdown current in LDO usage case?

Hi, Matsunaga-san,

These values apply for individual supplies on each pin and no internal LDO being used.

If the LDO is always active with LDO_SEL pin, the SPKVDD current consumption will increase to around 100uA.The rest of pins consumption will remain the same.

Hi Luis-san,

My customer is considering external LDO due to large power consumption of internal LDO.

Could you please provide max current of DVDD and AVDD?

Hi, Matsunaga-san,

The AVDD and DVDD maximum current values are dependent of the device configuration, however the maximum current may be as high as 25mA on each pin.

I would recommend to use external LDO with 50mA capability for DVDD and AVDD in case both are connected to the same rail.
