What's the meaning of digital boost block? What's the relationship between volume control and digital boost block?

Any application concern for this block?

Usually, this block is automatically works to accelerate the volume ramp speed if needed.

On application side, in default, it is 0dB. ramping up time can be configured as needed by DIG_VOL_CTRL2 Register.
