TAS5805M: How to adjust speaker output qualify (EQ) ?

Sir,

We designed this TAS5805M audio amplifier chip on a ARM platform. ARM platform has I2S interface connect to TAS5805M chip.

The operating system running on this ARM platform is an embedded Linux.

We want to fine tune audio output quality, however the tool is PPC3 what I learn from TI webpage.

PPC3 is an x86 tool which cannot run it on my ARM platform for the audio fine tuning.

How to adjust audio quality if we select ARM platform ?

Should I need to prepare a TAS5805M EVM board ?

Does the PPC3 tool work only with EVM board ?

Hello Customer,

You can use PPC3 to do the tuning and then PPC3 can dump all the tuning configurations to a header file.

With this header file, you can write to TAS5805 during the boot initialization.

Hi,

I has installed PPC3 on my laptop.

But there is no available EVM Apps on the console program, it needs TI's authentication. See below picture. Is this normal ?

Should I contact TI person ?
