Is AIC3254 suitable for custom processing algorithm ?

Dear all

I recently have a project related to audio signal processing and have to choose an right IC for it.

Basically, what I have to do is just :  Record (2 channels) analog audio signal , then processing the digitized audio signal and lastly playback the processed signal.

That is, getting the 2 channel analog results after ADCs , then processing the digitized values with MCU/dsp and lastly converting the proceesed values with DACs.

I think I need ICs with audio codec and mcu/dsp functions.

I have read datasheet of AIC3254. It seems having the basic functions I want.

The datasheet mentions miniDsp can be fully programmable.

Dose this mean I can write my custom processing algorithm to that miniDsp?

or It is just available for me to drag and drop some pre defined processing algorithm from TI or 3rd parties like dolby?

Also I have read another product TAS3002. What is the different between AIC3254 and it ?

If these two products does not suit my application , could anyone suggest some ways to choose suitable ICs?

Thanks for all kindly suggestions

Regards
