Part Number: PCM2903C
Hello,
I was looking at using the PCM2903C in an upcoming project and have a few questions about its temperature rating. Our project requires industrial temperature ratings (-40C to 85C) for all the parts used. The PCM2903C datasheet describes the ambient temperature under bias to be -40C to 125C while the operating temperature is -25C to 85C.
- Has the part been tested at -40C?
- Does "under bias" simply mean the part is powered, or are there other specific conditions needing to be met?
- Will the part reliably come out of reset and function if booted at -40C?
- Are there any associated risks of cold booting the PCM2903C at -40C and outputting audio while getting warmer?
- What determined the -25C limit? Was it to limit the THD, and SNR?
Thanks for the help!
Best,
Adam
