PP-SALB-EVM: PP-SALB-EVM Hardware Check Failure With 44.1kHz Sample Rate

Part Number: PP-SALB-EVM

Hi Sirs,

I applied a new PP-SALB-EVM but got hardware check failure. Would you please advise how to solve it on Windows 10? I tried to uninstall and reinstall the USB-AudioEVM but it was in vein (it worked with my previous EVM but keeps failure this time).  

Playback Sample Rate = 44.1kHz



Record = 44.1kHz




Deriver version (auto installation when plugging the EVM)

    Hi Wayne,

    Please check:

    1. Go to device manager to find the driver and uninstall it;
    2. Connect back to learning board to have it installed again;
    3. To check playback and record as you did above again;
    4. Then set the volume of PC to 100
    5. Check again to see whether this issue is eliminated;
    6. Try another PC to avoid any potential OS issue.

    Hi Alix,

    Customer and I confirmed that the Microsoft inbox driver version of 10.0.18362.1, released on 2019/03/18 works with PP-SALB-EVM and TAS58XX EVMs on Windows 10 with no issue.
