PCM1840: ADC noise

Hi,

My customer is evaluating PCM1840EVM with DAC5122EVM and observed noise when no input signal as the attached file.

Do you know why the noise occurs?

    Hi Kuramochi-san,

    First I would say the recommended capacitance for VREF is 1uF, not 47uF. From the spectrum this looks like characteristic 60Hz noise and harmonics likely coming from the power lines or picked up on cables from other equipment.
