Hi,
ist it possible to use multiple DRV135 on the same line to add multiple audio signals to that line?
For example, if i have 3 microphones signals (at different locations) and i would like to "mix" the signals () of all microphones together to one differential line, would this be possible with DRV135?
Thanks in advance.
Hello,
I have simulated your use case shown below and attached the Tina simulation as well. You can find the download text link at the very bottom of my reply. This will allow you to simulate the circuit further if you would like.
You can see that I have 3 simulated microphone inputs into 3 DRV135 devices. I have the outputs being summed into a standard summing amplifier configuration. The transient waveforms below show the desired behavior where the 3 inputs are summed together.
The results below show Vout1+, Vout2+, Vout3+ with amplitudes of 3.24 being summed to the final output with a value of -9.72.
Hello,
I shouldn't have shorted the outputs like I showed in my prior response. Please see the attached update for the TINA simulation. The schematic below shows the correction.
Thank you very much for your quick support and competent answer.
Kind regards.
Marc
