PCM1690: DAC output impedance

Could you give us a spec for the DAC output impedance min/typical/max if available. It is needed to calculate calculate the gain.

Hi Hideki,

I do not have any data for the output impedance of the voltage output amplifier integrated in the PCM1690. I would estimate that the typical zo is about 10Ω.

While we do not specify Zo, we do specify the minimum load impedance, which is 5k-15kΩ depending if it is DC or AC coupled.

Do you means an effect of the output impedance can be ignored as the minimum load impedance is much higher than the output impedance?

Yes, the high output load requirements should minimize the impact of the output impedance.
