TLV320AIC1110: Frequency Gain test error

Off the top of my head, I can't think of any specific reason for the TLV320AIC1110 to show this behavior.  Will look into it for you, but it can take a couple days - we've had some weather issues here in Dallas that are slowing support requests down a little.

Can you please verify register 00 write?  Is it B9h or 9Bh?

Customer's comment are as follows.

The value of the register "00" was initially set to "9B" according to the data sheet, but since the value of the evaluation board was "B9" and communication was possible, the set value is set to "B9" according to the evaluation board.

As for the value of "B9", as I mentioned before, the evaluation board was able to communicate with "B9" and not able  with "9B", so it is set according to the evaluation board.

Customers believe that either description on the data sheet '9B' or evaluation board itself are going wrong.

Is the cause of the problem likely to be the 00h setting?

Hi Hendrick-san,

Since the customer's problem was originally about output gain being below the minimum value on the data sheet, can you also check the gain when double checking?

I feel like it's a different issue from register settings.

Also, looking at the data sheet Table.9, I thought that EAR AMP2 does not work with the default setting of 9B, so I wondered if that was related. I would like to know if there is any information that should be confirmed with the customer for analysis.

I've got the AIC1110 setup with the register values you mentioned initially.  Please let me know what the input voltage level and loading conditions were during your tests.

I couldn't receive the customer's response for a while, but when I checked it, it seems that TLV320AIC1110 was canceled due to the end product customer. I'm sorry to get the test ready, but I have to say this question is closed.
