PCM1808: Clipping Issue

Part Number: PCM1808

Hey team,

I have a customer who is having a clipping issue on the PCM1808 analog inputs. The design has the following characteristics:

Biased internally at Vcc / 2 where Vcc is 4.8V resulting in a bias of 2.4V

Clipping is beginning when the signal reaches around 3.7V - this is only happening on the top band. Accounting for the bias this means the device can only handle a 2.6Vpp input signal while the datasheet calls out 0dBFS at 3Vpp. This is below the analog abs max of Vcc + 0.3 < 6.5V so we were wondering if there was something else that was wrong in the below circuit? The customer verified that the clipping is not happening upstream of the ADC.

I did notice they don't have C1 / C2 on the inputs as the typical application shows.
