TPA6047A4: Ground bounce

Hello team,

Could you please help me to address ground bounce issue?

In this case, it looks like the HP input is effected by GND difference between customer system and PC.

Could you please check the resolution you can find from the link is right?

Also, can you check if the REF voltage of HP amplifier in the D/S functional BD is connected to 28# SGND?

Hi Itoh-san,

What do you mean by REF voltage? I'm not clear about this one.

Regarding the information and preliminary solution described in the attached file, it looks OK. I don't find problems with this implementation.

Hello Ivan-san,

I meant + terminal of internal HP amplifier. Actually, my customer observed that the noise was not reduced when SGND is connected to PC 0VA and other GNDs are tied to the customer board. So it is assumed that it is connected to GND except for SGND internally. Could you please check?

HI Itoh-san,

Is there a way to test by shorting all GNDs from TPA6047A4 together, and then short the GND from that board to the source board GND?
This is and old design and details of the internal connections are not available at this time.
