Dear Team,

We are currently using NAU8812YG Audio codec for one of our Telecom gateways. We use 32 codecs for one Telecom gateway. Since there is a shortage of NAU8812YG codec and lead times are huge we would like to go for a redesign of the board with a codec which is vaialble in Stock at TI. 

Codec Requirement:

1. 8 Khz Sampling Rate

2. Single Channel Audio Codec ( 1ADC, 1 DAC )

3. Should support PCM and SPI 

4. Since 32 Codecs are deployed on the same board we should be able to generate different time slots from each of the codec. 

5. Most importantly Inventory should be available for immediate purchase. 

Request TI forum to suggest a part which meets our criteria.

    Hello,

    The device in question is a mono (1-ch ADC / 1-ch DAC) CODEC with a 1W 8Ω speaker driver.  

    Take a look at the TLV320AIC3100 or TLV320AIC3110 devices.  These devices are mono-in and mono-(AIC3100) or stereo (AIC3110) out.  They are superior to the competitor device in nearly all ways and specs and can be purchased through the TI e-store.  Place orders soon to secure supply.
