Hello team,

Could you please check if TLV320AIC3104 is right CODEC for the requirement below?

I/F: I2S or USB

DAC: mono or more

MIC input: 1ch or more

Internal Class-D amp: No needed, external amplifier is preferred

If TI has better CODEC, please let me know.

    Hello Itoh-san,

    Yes, the TLV320AIC3104 is a popular CODEC.  I've provided some feedback on the requirements below:

    I/F: I2S or USB

    [TI]:  The AIC3104 supports I2S, TDM, LJ, and RJ common audio serial interface formats with a flexible timing interface.

    DAC: mono or more

    [TI]: The AIC3104 supports 2-DAC channels for a Stereo output.  The TLV320AIC3109-Q1 is a mono-in/mono-out CODEC.

    MIC input: 1ch or more

    [TI]: The AIC3104 supports 2-ADC channels for a Stereo input.  The TLV320AIC3109-Q1 is a mono-in/mono-out CODEC.

    Internal Class-D amp: No needed, external amplifier is preferred

    [TI]  The AIC3104 features line-out and headphone/headset outputs.  There are not integrated Class-D amplifiers.  For future reference the TLV320AIC3107 and TLV320AIC3007 are devices in the same family that do feature integrated Class-D amps.
