Genius 9880 points
Part Number: TAS2505

Hi Team,

Good day.

Customer have a question regarding the device. Below is the inquiry of the customer

"

i have a question about your TAS2505 product that I am using for one of my project. Its an speaker amplifier IC my problem right now is that when I play some music, the output sound like chipmunk and looks like the playback speed is faster is there a way for me to adjust the playback speed? or sampling rate?

"

Regards,

Maynard

  • Hi Maynard,

The sampling rate of the device is set by DAC_fs and the relevant clock tree: www.ti.com/.../slau472.pdf

You could try to adjust the sampling rate of the device in multiples to check if it affects the output, eg. 24kHz if you're using 48kHz. However I think this could actually be related to the digital audio source.

I can support by checking your configuration settings and confirm it is OK for your input data format, I would need you initialization script, BCLK, WCLK, MCLK (if used) frequencies, and bits per word.

    Best regards,
