Hi ,I encountered two problems while debugging TPA3138, as follows:

1，When the power supply voltage is lower than 7V, TPA3138 will not work properly

2， test 1SPW and BD MODE quiescent current are both 36mA, is this normal? I want to know what its maximum value is mA?

Hi Switch,

1. Can you go into more detail on what you mean by the device won't work properly? Can you also share what settings you have the device in?

2. I recommend taking a look at this previous thread (+) TPA3138D2: Idle Current in 1SPW Mode - Audio forum - Audio - TI E2E support forums. Another customer noticed this as well. This was due to the snubber network on the output.

Hi Genius，

With 4 ohm load in BTL mode, it cannot work when the PVCC voltage is 7.5V, and it works normally when the PVCC voltage is 8V. I see the specification has written because it should work, as follows:
