Would you please advise how to use the tone generator of the TAS2563?
Here is our use case:
1. What is the frequency of the tone?
2. Can we play the tone with the following sequence?
(1) Play tone:
write I2C:
w 90 00 00
w 90 7f 00
w 90 3f 60
Assert GPIO (pin 22) to high
(2) Stop tone:
Dessert GPIO (pin 22) to low
write I2C:
w 90 00 00
w 90 7f 00
w 90 3f 00

Hello Ivan,
I tried to write the I2C commands and asserted GPIO to high on the TAS2563 QFN EVM, I can listen to a short pulse (<1 second) after applying ROM mode CFG (I2C log was attached). Would you pls advise how to control the length of the tone?

I tried to rework the CSV to the enclosed CFG (x03f=0x40) by writing 0x3f = 0x20 (triggered by GPIO). However, it can generate a short beep sound with I2C commands when GPIO=High as below test result. Would you please review my CFG and advise how to modify it to achieve customer's target by sending beep tone with GPIO?
