TAS2560: TAS2560 amplifier technical support

Part Number: TAS2560

Dear Team,

Customer configuring register in the TAS2560.

In the address 0x0F ,The sound is clean when value is 0x41,but there is a little of  sound noise when value is 0x01.

Customer hope BITCLK can provide a clean sound as MCLK,and We need BITCLK to generate a suitable clock source to TAS2560.

They don't use MCLK.

Could you teach us what is exact register value in the PLL configuration?

Many Thanks,

Jimmy

  • Hi Jimmy,

I would suggest to use PPC3 to get the correct device configuration. From End System Integration panel you can set your specific clock setting to obtain a configuration script, have you tried this way? The internal clock tree needs to be configured based on the input clocks. From your description MCLK and BCLK does not have the same frequency so this is most likely the cause of the noise.
