How to use DEM-PCM2903BEVM?

I am studying DEM-PCM2903BEVM now.

I need use ADC as analog signal input, and the digital output is S/PDIF(Dout) , not use PC USB connector to link EVM.

how can i setup(modify) the EVM board to implement this function?

Hi, Yukun,

This routing is not available in this IC.

Please take a look at the PCM3052A, I think it might be closer to what you need, but it doesn't have USB functionality.

Thanks your answer so exact and quick.

another question, if i need the reverse path function, i means that the input is digital S/PDIF input signal and get analog output from DAC, do not need PC USB, what TI component will do the work? pls recommend me the parts.

Yukun,

One possible solution would be DIR9001 followed by a DAC like PCM1754.

Dear Don,

We have been trying to do S/PDIF IN to Analog Out using a single chip solution, looks like PCM2903C is a great solution, can we use it this way?
