DRV2700EVM: Control a piezo chip to a minimum of 0.0000001Hz

Hi Team,

We would like to request your assistance to the customer's inquiry below.

We have a project where we need to control a Piezo chip to, as a minimum 0.0000001Hz with a preferred minimum control of 0.00000001Hz. The frequency will be in the range of 100-700Hz, and the input to the board will not be an issue. We need to ensure that the amplifier can give out the same frequency or as close to the input as possible.

Is it possible to do it with this board, or is there a better alternative to the DRV2700EVM?

Hello Danilo,

For this device, the input and output frequencies should be the same. The internal circuitry does not apply any shift to the frequency content of the input signal. The input range you mentioned seems to be within the operating range of the DRV2700 depending on what load is used (see figures 9-12 in the datasheet for more information).
