Hello,
I'm working on a data acquisition project, and my pre-amplification and signal conditioning stages are based around the OPA1632.
I'm needing to convert the differential output from the 1632 to a single ended output. I figure there are two ways to do this.
1)Find an appropriate single ended amplifier:
Requirements:
-Cost: ~$5, same as the OPA1632
-Speed: must have same slew rate and gain bandwidth margin (180mhz) as OPA1632
-Supply: must operate -15V/+15V
Issue:
-Similar amplifiers that I have found do not meet all of the above criteria... Particulalry in terms of price.
2)Design a differential to single-ended converter using an OPA1632
Issue: Is it alright to just design an 2x gain stage using an OPA1632, and disregard the inverted output? I will be driving a 50 ohm transmission line with just the non-inverting output?
Thanks in advance!
