Hi Sir

I search for a six or eight channel analog ECM Microphone to I2S convertor IC with small form factor, Any hint is welcome.

I jsut recognized the TLV320ADC3140/3160 series can accommodate four channel analog mic differential input, so could i modify the circuit to eight channel ECM single-end mic input?

Hi Danny,

The TLV320ADC3140 can handle up to 4 analog channels or 8 digital mic PDM channels. It is very easy to interface two together though to support higher channel counts and we have an app note that describes how they can share the same i2c and TDM busses here: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/sbaa383b/sbaa383b.pdf

We don't have any integrated 6-8 channel ADCs so TLV320ADC3140 I think is the best option. There is also the PCM3168A, which supports 6 channels, but it also has an 8-channel DAC and comes in a much larger package.
