Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM2912A
Hello team,
I received a question from my customer about large current flow of TPA2038D1.
They are using it in combination of PCM2912A + TPA2038D1. It seems that large current cause pop noise when their speaker volume is set high.
Software is involved, but from the perspective of IC such as current and voltage, can you give advice on why this phenomenon is occurring and how to prevent it?
Detail is as follows:
A test is being conducted to play back 500 Hz Sin wave audio files (wav).
When the media player volume is 100 and the speaker level is 95 or higher, the system produces a pop noise only during the first attempt.
The current measurement shows that there is no large current movement at the beginning of the audio play up to level 93, but at a rate above 95, a large current is generated.
What could be the cause?
Also, measured voltage waveform on speaker output seems to be switching at 294KHz. Is this a proper behavior? (Q.36)
