TPA6120A2 Input Series Resistor with Non-inverting Configuration

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA6120A2

Hi,

Could you please tell us how to adjust the input series resistors(R7 & R8) since we would like to minimize the offset voltage with a non-inverting configuration as the following schematic ?
Moreover, please give us your advice if you have any other ideas and application notes.

Best regards,
Kato

  • Hi Kato-san,

If you need to reduce the offset voltage, you could try to add a DC blocking capacitor at the output. Another option could be to place a DC servo at the feedback path; we haven't implemented this but TPA6120A2 should be able to work with this kind of feedback connection.

  • Hi Ivan-san,

    Thank you for your information.
Could you please share an additional information to us if you have any application notes since we would like to know how to place a DC servo at the feedback ?

    Best regards,
    Kato

  • Hi Kato-san,

Unfortunately there is not an application note about this. But there is a simple schematic about this in the attached document; although I have not verified its operation, you can use it as reference.
