TLV320AIC3106: What is the actual bandwidth at 96kHz sampling?

At the beginning of the data sheet this device is advertised as being able to sample up to 96kHz. However reading further it is not clear if the actual available bandwidth is limited to just below 20kHz.
We chose this device because of the 96kHz advertised sampling rate.

Can you let us know if we were to set the device to 96kHz sampling if we would get a real usable bandwidth of just below 48kHz (both for the ADC and the DAC) or if the bandwidth is limited to 20kHz but over sampled at 96kHz?

I will take some measurements in the lab and get back to you. The EVM has LPFs on the outputs to filter out of band noise (-3dB point at 33khz) , so if you are measuring the output on the EVM that would come into play. I can measure the output before that.

There is no limitation that I can see. Here is the frequency response of the DAC at 96K, the ADC will be similar with a HPF on the low frequency side due to the Coupling capacitor.
